Harness Racing Matinee

The Harness Racing Matinee returns to the Champaign Co. Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 25 at 1PM. Free admission. Food vendor on site. Come join us for an afternoon of fun and racing!

Upgrades happening again this year!

Update#5: Camping sites are complete and operational as of 6/6/2025!

Update #4: Trenches being filled in. Final connections coming.

Update #3: New power poles with transformer’s set in place.

UPDATE #2: New water lines are in as well as electric lines in place! Currently in the process of hooking up electric lines to posts. Stay tuned!

UPDATE #1: Posts are in. Finalizing water routes and electric supply locations. Digging to follow!

The remaining camping area will be upgraded. All poles and water hydrants have been removed. New posts will go in likely within the next two weeks extending west to the drive along the creek by the horse area restrooms/showers. All camping spots will be north/south facing like the others near the beef barn.

We’re moving forward in 2025!

All OUTSIDE Concessions/Vendor spots are SOLD OUT for 2025. No additional requests will be considered until the 2026 season.
